I've been going to Disney parks since...well...forever!
To the right you'll see my first character encounter ever, with Winnie the Pooh! You could say that I was born into this character hunting lifestyle, but I didn't get serious about character hunting until about 2013. I wish I had been serious before! My parents had taken me to meet some characters that we would consider rare or obsolete today, such as Blue Aurora, Figment, Kuzco, and Koda, but there are so many other characters that I'd wish I met when they were out regularly.

On this page, you'll find an index of the 231 characters that I've met in the past 17 years. If you're looking for character times, don't look for it here. Use the MyDisneyExperience app or Kenny the Pirate's Character Locator tool. You can use this page to see what characters you'll generally see at Walt Disney World. A post generally has the character name, park or resort met, location or event within the park or resort, and if the meet was random, rare, or still exists. If nothing is typed in bold, you can generally expect to find that character at that location. Mickey and Friends, Pooh and Friends, and the Princesses have pages rather than an index of posts because they have several costume changes and many locations, so it would be easier for those characters to be indexed as such. Because of this, changes aren't date stamped, so I have indicated when I met that character in that location on each page. On any other character page, the date met generally corresponds to the date posted on the bottom of the post.

That 231 number that I've flashed at you only includes Disney characters from movies, TV shows and theme park attractions that can only be met on Disney property. This does include Marvel characters (not those found at Universal's Island of Adventure), Star Wars characters, Muppets (if I ever meet one!) Pixar characters, and more. While you'll see tons of posts on this page, the 231 number only counts different, unique characters. While I've met Mickey in 30+ different costumes, he only counts once in this number. I love to meet characters in different locations as well, but that number does also not count in the 231. This number does also not include any "streetmosphere" characters or Epcot storytellers, as well as any characters found at Universal, Six Flags, Sea World parks, and Cedar Fair parks. Nevertheless, I have still included those pictures on a separate page. Last, First Order Stormtroopers, Imperial Stormtroopers, The Queen, and the Witch are all counted separately.

I have only visited the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Shanghai Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland, but I plan on visiting more in the future!
